Alexia L. Knox is a communications consultant, project manager, and research writer on international crises and risks.
Alexia possesses experience writing, providing policy analysis, and developing communication strategies, and content for organizations, government entities, and international audiences. She has been responsible for delivering clear messaging through various channels including podcasts, social media, local media networks, radio, and newsletters.
She has provided freelance writing for local newspapers in collaboration with media networks. While working for a syndicated broadcast media company, she developed and produced commercial content and media advertisements. Alexia has been a recurring presenter at the International Crisis and Risk Communication Conference discussing crisis and risk communications research with other communications experts and professional colleagues. Alexia holds a Master of Public Administration, a Marquette University Alumni earning a Master of Arts in Corporate Communications, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Public Policy from Concordia University of Wisconsin. She is a cultural and political conservative, an investor, and a project manager holding a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Duke University.
Although Alexia has a professional background in writing biographies and academic articles based on public policy, socioeconomic crises, and geopolitical theses, she also writes speculative nonfiction, literary and magical realism, creative nonfiction, screenplays, and prose genres. She has written hundreds of anthologies and is the author of, “Blue Code: How to Effectively Communicate with Police Officers," found on Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.
